Weekly Band News: August 11 – August 17
OCHS HOME FOOTBALL GAME
Friday, August 23rd is our first home football game and we will need several volunteers throughout the evening to make this night a success for the OCHS Marching Colonels.

- Graeter’s Ice Cream Sales is always a great fundraiser during our home football games. This is a great opportunity for younger siblings to help support the band and middle school kids can use this volunteer opportunity for BETA hours, we just ask that an adult be with them to handle the money. The Pyware information is now on the website. It’s a great resource for the kids to review the details of the halftime show. Technology Consent Form
In order for us to use the tech tools available, we are now required to get permission forms from all students to comply with revised AUP (Acceptable Use Policy). The form is on the band website under the announcements tab. The first page should be completed and returned to Mr. Rogers by the first day of school. You may download this form by clicking here.
Letterman Jackets & Other Band Spiritwear Apparel (these are completely optional purchases)
The Representative from Neff Co, the letterman jacket manufacturer, will be in the band room Thu Aug. 15 at the end of Marching band practice. They will measure to ensure the right fit for all letterman jackets orders. All letterman jacket orders must be placed that day.
Jackets may be paid in full when ordering or, there is the option to pay half the cost when ordering and the other half at pick up. Checks can be made to OCHS Band Boosters.
Orders for band Spiritwear apparel may be placed anytime between now and Aug 15 and do not require measuring. To order band apparel, please place order form and check, made out to OCHS Band Boosters, in an envelope and drop in the band dropbox no later than Aug 15.
