MUM PICK UP
Don’t forget MUM Pick up is TOMORROW, Thursday, September 12th from 3:00 to 6:15. Pick will be in the back lot bus lot next to the Gymnasium. Please be mindful of buses and dismissal time between 3:40 and 4:00. For those who have large orders, please make sure you drive a vehicle that can hold your full order. Lastly, we are still in need of at least 1 person to assist between 4:00 and 6:15 if you would like to help, please meet in the bus lot.
FORMAL WEAR
Formal wear orders have been placed for those who are new to the band. Please send in $17 (boys) for tuxedo shirts, or $65 (girls) for concert gowns no later than Friday, Sept 13th. Checks need to be payable to OCHS band boosters.
Girls will need to wear black flats to concerts along with their gown. *you are responsible for getting the gown hemmed. You can hem it yourself if you have that talent, or, many band students have had them hemmed at US Tailor, 9428 Brownsboro Road, Louisville KY 40241, 502-425-4450. SnapRaise UPDATE
We are moving steadily toward a new goal of $20,000.00–but there is one thing we could do that will maximize our effort. Currently, only six days into the project, we have received donations of nearly $10,000.00–with a participation level of 54%! More than half of the students who set up their accounts last Thursday do not meet the 20-email threshold. 12 students (out of 142 total band members) have not set up an account at all–I’m not including them in the percentage of participants. Can you imagine the difference we might see over the next three weeks if we achieved the 80% participation level? Please help us by helping your student to complete the task of putting their email addresses into their individual accounts–every one could be a potential supporter of the program, but we’ll never know if they aren’t asked to do so! To those of you who have already done this, thank you!
