In order to keep students hydrated throughout band rehearsals, we ask that each band student bring in a case of bottled water the first week of summer band rehearsal. These bottles will be used if a student forgets their water bottle or needs additional water during rehearsal. This water supply is also used for the band members during football games. Other items needed include disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer. Thank you in advance!

A few parents have asked about additional shirts for themselves or other family members. We have worked with the shirt vendor to set up an online store where you can make these orders. If your student is in the 2020/2021 OCHS Band—ONE short sleeved shirt for your student is INCLUDED in Band Fees for the year. Please note that you would only order for them if you want extras or additional products.
They will deliver to the high school in a few weeks. A portion of the proceeds for these sales will be donated back to the band.
Here is the link to OCHS Band Spirit Wear. There are lots of sizes and styles. They do have extended sizes.
We communicate band news through various channels.
Google Classroom for 2020-2021
The Google Classroom code for students for the 2020-2021 School year is Marching Colonels: q2wft5f ONLY students should register for this class; It will be used to keep them informed without having to resort to emailing as we move through the summer. I’ll set up individual class periods later once everyone’s schedules are finalized.
Each Sunday evening, an email is sent with details of the week’s band activities, as well as a preview of upcoming events. This is our main source of communication. If it’s a busy week, or there is new information since Sunday, a Wednesday email will be sent out as well.
