  • Welcome at 7:01 pm, Chad Adams presenting via Zoom, 41 in attendance 
  • November Meeting Minutes – Melissa Gossett, Review & Approval-Charlie Christensen/Andi Marx
  • December Treasurer’s Report – Lisa Zahradnicek, Review and Approval-Troy Head/Charlie Christensen
  • Director’s Comments-Reviewed KMEA performance and All-State
  • Band Trip Update
    • Total going=105 (76 students; 29 parents/siblings)
    • Announce final payment if ready ; Payment due this Friday
  • Upcoming Events
    • After School Rehearsals on Wednesday/Thursday for concert band 
    • Rehearsal on Tuesday February 2, 2022, at 4 pm for Symphonic 1
    • Blue Pep Band game on January 21 and February 8
    • White Pep Band game on January 21, January 24, and Feb 18
    • Pep Band for Playoffs will start after Feb 18th   Students will volunteer for these games
    • KMEA Preview Concert at NOHS on January 27 at 7 pm, students arrive at 6 pm
    • UK Honor Band on January 29-28,29,30-students were sent information
    • KMEA All State Ensembles February 2 through 5
    • KMEA Conference Performance at KICC (Band 1) on February 4
      • Vote approval on Programs-$1900 for 500 programs-Katie Fuller/Andi Marx/ Motioned carried
    • WKU Honor Band on February 17 through February 19
    • Monday 2/28 Jazz Band students were invited to play at CAL with their Jazz Band

    • Spring Flower Sale—Jenn Silliman/Nicole Tschappat-Run through March with delivery in April or May
    • DON’T FORGET about Passive Fundraisers Amazon and Kroger (free money doing shopping you would be doing anyway)
  • The following Band Booster Organization positions are open for next year and need volunteers:

    • Hospitality—Need one person to serve with current chair

    • All district—Need one person to serve with chair from last year
    • Transportation/Truck Rental
    • Drum Major Stand/Stage Setup—Need one person to serve with current chair.
    • Mums/Flower—Need one person to serve with current chair.
  • We will also need 2-3 people to serve on a nomination committee to review the officer nominations.   We will cover with one meeting during the last week of March.  Please email me if interested.
