  • January Meeting Minutes – Cathy Middleton, Reviewed, Motion to approve by Sonya Cook, 2nd by Kim Zarotny, approved
  • Treasurer’s Report
    • Lorena Reed is under -the-weather, Treasurer’s Report will be sent out later attached to an E newsletter, we will have a report next month
  • Hospitality – need a meal plan for light dinner at KMEA on March 20th, CANCELLED
  • Volunteer Coordinator – Kathleen Beville
    • ALL EVENTS WERE CANCELLED 
  • Fundraising
    • Scrip card binder has been found, gift cards in binder will be sold at next concert- money to be designated for KMEA meal (not needed)

  • Graeter’s Ice Cream Report – Lisa Adams

   NOHS and Shelby Co basketball games – sold 242 cups of Graeters, over $200 profit

  • Passive Fundraisers (free money doing shopping you would be doing anyway)
    • Kroger Community Rewards, Oldham County High School Band or code QJ874
    • Amazon Smile, set your Amazon Smile Charity to Oldham County High School Band Boosters Inc
    • Shoparoo app, take pictures of your grocery receipts and upload for point/money for band
  • Band Booster Organization volunteers needed for next year

    • Pit Crew Coordinator (coordinate volunteers for percussion stands, seating and drum major stand set-up at football games, concert stage set-up, instrument truck rental for away events)

  • New Business – Troy Head mentioned that Theiss furniture closed in 2019 and will donate their Mitsubishi Truck to the Band for transporting instruments, need to check with school board to see if we can accept this donation
  • Director’s Report – see attached, started discussion of next year’s trip options, will discuss further at next meeting.  Also, the Band received the Head Trust fund for $3000, proposed purchasing 1 flugelhorn and 2 coronets with this contribution (its intention is for instruments) Motion by Troy Head, 2nd by Kim Zarotny, approved.
  • Next Band Boosters meeting will be on Thursday, March 19, postponed to Thursday, April 2nd
  • Motion to adjourn meeting by Cathy Middleton, 2nd by Sonya Cook. Meeting adjourned at 8:01.
